This beautiful wooden box was scratch built, and once used to store ammunition by the British Army. Look closely at the markings and you can find more details on its original use, including a location of Grantham in Lincolnshire.
With a fabulous aged patina, this box is a good size to be used for all sorts of storage around a rustic home. Keep medications or first aid packages inside and display it in your utility, or attach an antique padlock and keep as a quirky memory box!
This item is in a well used condition with age related marks and wear and tear with rusty metal hinges. It’s still a strong and functional box, with a working latch lock.
