A pair of vintage wooden shoe trees with a lovely warm patina, hinged construction and turned wooden handles.
Originally designed to help retain the shape of shoes, they now make wonderfully sculptural decorative pieces. The aged timber, visible grain and dark metal hinges give them plenty of character, while their simple utilitarian form works particularly well in rustic, industrial or pared-back interiors.
Style them together on a shelf, console or stack of books, or use them as an interesting addition to a collection of vintage objects.
